HeroDirt® MTB Aero Shorts are designed by Australians for Australian conditions. Our shorts are beautifully crafted, lightweight yet strong and breathable and will stand up to anything that the trail has to throw at you.
Features:
- Our A Grade Polyester/Spandex breathable fabric with 4 way stretch and a 3D cut design reduces friction.
- The easy fit waist features a sturdy double stud fastener, belt hooks and elastic sides which are perfect for those, shall we say, “seasonal” size fluctuations!!!
- Built for sheer comfort, generous stretch knit panels feature where it matters most:
- the length of the lower back,
- from the crutch down the length of the inside leg,
- bottom of the outside leg to easily slip over your knee pads.
- “Let There Be Pockets!” You’ve asked and we’ve listened:
- 2 open hand pockets are wide enough to get your hands into even while you’re on the bike.
- 2 deep zipped thigh “pouch” style pockets allow you to store your stuff comfortably.
- The easy zip opener/closer is removable for those tight trails where branches that can snag might be an issue.
- Both thigh pockets contain reflective strips for night riding.
- Our fabric is windproof, fast drying and will provide some protection against light rain. The truth about fabrics that are so-called “totally waterproof” means that they cannot breathe well and in the long-term, the waterproofing generally washes off.
- Our MTB shorts are easy wash. Just throw them in the machine on a warm wash – no more than 40C and hang them out to dry.
- Iron? You can, but seriously, why would you!!?

Stoked to be wearing these Aussie shorts. Holding up so far to some spills. Light weight and extra wide pockets are great. Thought they might be too long when I got them but when I got on the bike they were perfect. Obviously a lot of thought has gone in to them. It’s cool that they support animal conservation and are a WA business. Better to support local. Will be trying the jerseys next.

Best shorts on the market – and I’ve tried lots! Sturdy, well built and great fit. Love the extra wide pockets at hip level. They’ve taken a lot of knocks and they look as good as the day that I bought them. Highly recommend Like the fact that this a Aussie business and they support conservation and wildlife
