HeroDirt was approached by forward thinking school principal, Gavin Hirschhausen, of Geraldton Christian College to design and distribute a school uniform that was more in keeping with our Australian climate, our love of the outdoors and a uniform that promotes the school’s ethos of encouraging all children to take part in physical activity. 

 

Gone is the hot and uncomfortable European inspired school blazer, tie and thick white shirts to be replaced with activewear.  In a desire to move away from the unfashionable panels and embroidery which is the current standard of most schools throughout Australia, the activewear is branded with the College’s name, logo and motto by sublimation directly into the fabric.  

 

Students are offered the choice of both short and long sleeve breathable, moisture wicking polo shirts (not a panel in sight!), as well as shorts and long casual pants.  The school jacket is windproof, fleece lined, has deep zipped pockets and the two toned fabric gets a thumbs up from the students.
